3: You Have to Write an Essay
Many students believe they have to write an essay to be considered for a scholarship, but this is simply not true. While some scholarships do require an essay, many others do not. It is important to carefully read through the requirements of each scholarship to determine if writing an essay is necessary.

You can get scholarships just by being active in one or two organizations or clubs. Your involvement doesn’t have to be extensive, just enough to demonstrate a commitment to a cause.
